New Swimming Book Name Released

Thank you to everyone for the wonderful title suggestions for my new book.

As many readers know I have been putting together a new book for children aged 8 years to 14 years.  The book covers all aspects of competition swimming and talks about the life of a swimmer during these years.

I had one problem though…  I needed a name for the book!

Over the last 2 months I have received more than 1000 suggestions for the book’s name.

From this list I selected a top 10 and from this list I chose the name of the book.  The winning name was submitted by Tommy Smith from Melbourne Vicentre Swimming Club in Melbourne, Australia.  Tommy wins a box of 10 books to give out to family and friends.  Tommy is 12 years old and submitted the winning title of…

1. BEHIND THE GOGGLES

As I went through all the names I realised that the words and cartoons used in the book are all based on life through the eyes of a swimmer, and this title matched perfectly.

The book will be launched later in the year (well prior to Christmas) and will be available in all countries around the world.  If you are reading about this book for the first time please subscribe to 50 Swim Tips to stay up to date on its release and to receive a free eBook and 3 free reports.

Now just to let you know, the other selections in the top 10 were:

2. Dreams begin at Dawn

3. The Black Line

4. Lane 4

5. The Swimmer’s Bible

6. Take Your Marks

7. Being Cool in the Pool

8. A Swimmer’s Life

9. Between the Lanes

10. Swim like a Fish
